FDIC Division of Resolutions and Receiverships (DRR) Business Support Services
DRR is responsible for resolving failing and failed FDIC-insured depository financial institutions. The Business Project Management Section (BPMS) of the Receivership Operations Branch of DRR contributes to the FDIC’s mission by ensuring DRR and related interdivisional projects align with corporate information technology strategies, adhere to governance policies, and maintain efficient daily operations. Technical, analytical, and administrative support services are required to support DRR’s business operations.
The scope of work of this contract includes services and tasks in support of DRR’s business operations. Z, INC. provides qualified professional, technical, and administrative resources to perform all Basic Requirements and Special Projects. The services and tasks under this contract are:

Challenges and Lessons Learned
The major challenge faced by Z, INC. is to support the mission-critical bank closings that FDIC conducts within a highly regulated, proprietary, and secure environment. Z, INC. has met these challenges by providing staff with both financial and technical skills working in strict confidentiality to support FDIC’s role as deposit insurer and bank supervisor; performing rigorous data management, dividend and receivership accounting, and website updates for weekly failed bank closings.
